LED copiers are for companies that require speed while processing high-volume projects. LED devices are more expensive and generally require local maintenance with a higher relative frequency, however the cost of supplies for these devices is significantly lower. Ultimately, if you are dealing with a high-volume plotting or copying project, an LED device may make the most financial sense. LED devices range from 4 D-size documents to 22 D-size documents per minute and usually have an integrated scanner as part of the system. As is the case with inkjet copiers, the interface on an LED copier can make the difference in how the system works for your environment: for projects primarily involving copying, integrated copiers will provide the best fit, whereas for projects involving plotting and scanning to file, a standalone scanner and plotter may better suit your requirements.
