We use the GoToMeeting software to remote into your desktop to troubleshoot issues and walk our customers through the scanning application.
What we cover and how we do it:
We use GoToMeeting software; This package provides an environment of collaborating on the process to install the scanner and best of all use of the software.
Initial walk through of scanner physical features. This includes an introduction to the display and the software GUI or graphical user interface.
We spend an appropriate time demonstrating the software. Then the customer will have the opportunity to go “hands on” and discover what he/she does not know. This is an invaluable learning session. The customer gets to work with the software and ask questions as he/she works through it. This facilitates the introduction of discovery and problem solving. Demos are nice when every thing goes well but when the customer starts using the package, there are always items that come up and questions result. We find that this helps our customers understand the software features right out of the gate and makes using the scanner much easier.
