Preserve Your Memories!

By Large Documents - January 19, 2017

Having access to a rich and colorful history is important to any nation.  Even with the advent of the internet, citizens benefit from the availability of irreplaceable documents from the past.  We’ve all gone through attics or garages and found photos, marriage licenses, birth announcements, etc.  Having a way to preserve these documents is invaluable to future generations.  Did you know that first documents archived in the United States date back to 1775?  The National Archives was created in 1934 by President Franklin Roosevelt, and now contains literally millions of textual records, maps, photographs, and a variety of other information.  Each state now has their own archives that have records pertaining to their specific area and population.

Whether you’re a collector, a history buff, or just a curious individual, scanning and saving historical documents is an easy way to be sure that the important information from the past is preserved.  At Large Document Solutions and its sister site Digital Preservation Archiving, you will find all the information you need in order to ensure your memories will live on forever!
