Featured Product of the Week: Image Access WideTEK 36 Series
Hello, and welcome back to our weekly product showscase! This week we’re pleased to discuss one of our most versatile and dynamic series of devices – the WideTEK 36 family. Manufactured by Image Access, our WideTEK 36 scanners are sent to us directly from the development center over in Germany, and come complete with Scan-to-Network functionality, an easy-to-navigate touch-screen interface, and both Mac and PC compatibility. As one of the largest suppliers of Image Access products in North America, we can say without a doubt that these are some of the finest scanners which we offer.
The WideTEK 36 series offers both Graphical and Technical options. The standard WideTEK 36 device is a CCD scanner which is designed with everyday use in mind. It’s both easy to install and easy to operate, and is capable of scanning all kinds of documents – from historical pieces and art to technical documents, the 36 is built to meet your high-performance requirements. The WideTEK 36C is a cost-efficient alternative to the 36, which uses CIS technology to duplicate the quality of the 36 at a lower price point. While the 36C is a terrific option, its design specifications are primarily tailored towards technical documents, such as maps and blueprints, so the 36 is the right choice for you if you’re looking for graphical imagery. Last, the WideTEK 36DS is possibly the most innovative and unique scanner which we offer – the “DS” stands for “Dual-Sided”, meaning that it has cameras built into both the top and the bottom of the scanning head. The WideTEK 36DS is the only dual-sided scanner in our entire catalogue, and is ideal for large-scale projects involving double-sided documents, such as newspaper and historical archives. If you’re interested in learning more about how a device from the WideTEK 36 family of scanners can benefit you, feel free to reach out to us for more information, or take a look at the Scanner section of our website for specific details on product specs and capability.
