Image Access Bookeye ScannersImage Access has re-engineered book scanning from the ground up. The advantages of using a book scanner are many.  Image Access’s Bookeye scanners have many advantages over more expensive book scanners.

  1. Hardware easy to setup – In most environments just take it out of the box, turn it on and start scanning.  In a network environment when the requirements are to save scans on a local area network, FTP site, or the cloud a simple network configuration is performed.
  2. Built to last – Solid construction.  Steel chassis, quality cradle, and state of the art imaging technology.
  3. Hands free scanning - The foot pedal option adds to the scanner’s ease of use.  After simple configuration, the operator would just set the book on the cradle, step on the foot pedal, turn the page then repeat!
  4. Frustrated with fingers in your scanned documents - To make scanning even easier, these Image Access Bookeye scanners even have a finger removal tool that can remove your fingers from your scans.  There are times when the operator must hold open the book in order to get the best scan possible.  With other book scanners, this was a problem.  With the Image Access Bookeye scanners it is a snap.  Included with this package is a function whereby fingers can be automatically removed from your scans.  Just click the box and start scanning.  Used with the foot pedal, a scan job is a snap!
  5. Mac vs. Windows environment – No problem.  These Image Access scanners are designed to run natively in Microsoft Windows, Mac OS, & Linux environments.
  6. No need to damage your classic books - The fundamental concept behind the Bookeye Series of scanners (as with all dedicated book scanners) is relatively simple – scanning books using roll-fed scanners is nigh impossible, and scanning on a flatbed surface is difficult and cumbersome, owing to the curvature of a bound book.  With these Image Access Bookeye scanners, the book is not pressed again glass or scanning surface.  The overhead scanning can effectively capture in detail those precious pages.
  7. Kiosk model designed for self-service applications - A casual user can quickly and easily operate this book scanner.  With a maximum scanning area of 15.3 x 18.9 inches this unique book cradle solution allows users to digitize bound documents at a resolution of 400 dpi and A3+ in size, by either laying them flat on the scanning bed or in the V-cradle, at an angle of 120 degrees for gentle, protective handling of the source material.
  8. Scan-to options - Scanned images can be output to your USB device, email, local area network, a printer or on a mobile device like an iPad or Android tablet.
  9. Scanning Graphic Art? -  Sure! These Image Access Book scanners are designed for enhanced scanning quality via the charged-coupled device or CCD camera technology.
  10. 3 sizes to choose from - The Image Access Bookeye series comes in three size formats – 25” x 18”, 25” x 36”, and 36” x 50”.
  11. Have a thick book? - Bookeye scanners come with an adjustable binding thickness cradle in order to allow the cradle of the scanner to accommodate books of varying thicknesses.
